Longdean School, situated in Hemel Hempstead, is committed to providing its students with a world class education, preparing them for a job market, which is increasingly global. As part of this task, the School required a brand new school building, fully fitted to enhance its students’ learning.
As part of the development of a 1,500 pupil school building, Apteriors were employed for planning, design and furniture installation services for a total of 160 rooms.
Over the course of just 3 weeks, Apteriors fully fitted Drama classrooms, Music Recording studio, Flexible Dining, Library, Sixth Form Study and Social areas. The 6th Form Study area incorporates booths and group work tables, which are good examples of collaborative working environments being used in schools.

“Apteriors provided an excellent service. They tied in well with other contractors on site and worked closely with key school staff. The conduct of all employees on site was exemplary, which was important as they were frequently in contact with students and other visitors to the school.”
