Apteriors were employed for the relocation of a multi-faceted student union space. The brief called both for areas where students can socialise and those where they can study, making the space planning part of the project particularly key.
The overall student union area needed to be split into sections that were both conducive to their individual uses but also did not hinder tasks undertaken in other spaces, while maintaining an open plan, communal feel.
Apteriors designed a space based around several office pods, perfect for tasks that need to be secluded from the main area, and breakout spaces, ideal for larger groups – and so met the client’s brief perfectly.
