The Watford University Technical College (UTC) offers full-time technically-oriented courses for 14-19 year olds. With a specialism in computer and digital communication, hospitality and tourism industries, the senior management team were keen for every detail of the building to match their vision and aspirations for the school and its 600 students.
Apteriors were contracted for a full furniture design and procurement consultancy role, taking on the responsibility of the detailed design of a number of high specification technical areas throughout the school, based on the brief provided.
During the course of the project, Apteriors were able to furnish a number of teaching and breakout areas, in a way that suits not only the Watford UTC brand and school colours, but also the primary use of each space. The modern, but comfortable look and feel allows the students and their teachers to make the best use of every room available.
