Among Apteriors’ long list of specialist fit-outs sits the music studio. Alongside proper acoustic treatment, studio furnishing is of huge importance. Although how your studio sounds is crucial, the look and feel of a studio can affect the users’ performance and creative flow.

Let’s take a look at a few of the most impressive and well-known recording studios across the world.

Metropolis Studios, London

Situated in an old powerhouse in Chiswick, Metropolis Studios are amongst Europe’s finest. Across four rooms, Metropolis Studios provide fully kitted out recording studios, whether you are a solo music producer, a rock band or just a string section. Artists who have recorded there in the past include: Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Adele and Lady GaGa, amongst others.

Abbey Road Studios, London

Abbey Road Studios are probably one of the most famous in the world, being home to a surplus of landmark recordings and pioneering advances in recording technology. Their five studio facilities include acoustic rooms, an unrivalled microphone collection, as well as recording equipment from the past and equipment of the future.

Electric Lady Studios, New York

Electric Lady Studios are situated in New York’s Greenwich Village and were founded by Jimi Hendrix; to this day they are still in use. Artists who recorded in these studios include Patti Smith, Weezer, Led Zeppelin and the White Stripes.

The above are examples of very impressive music studios, where incredible tracks have been created. Creative and sound friendly facilities are a must for music studios. They don’t necessarily need to be hugely spacious, but just enough for the equipment needed.

Apteriors have a wealth of experience in consulting, planning and delivering projects, which means they can coordinate between all stakeholders and create the space you require.
