Apteriors do a range of specialist furniture fit-outs. This blog takes a look at what goes into the best film studios from the history of tv and cinema and why they’ve proved so successful.

Warner Brothers

Space and size has been what sets Warner Brothers apart. Its Californian Burbank lot is a 142 acre plot and boasts 35 sound stages. This is key because the extensive number of soundproof studios provides the right acoustics for the recording of dialogue. One of these sound stages is the world’s tallest and has an in-ground water tank for filming rain! Warner Brothers UK studio is even larger: Studio Leavesdon is home to a 160 acre production facility, houses the famous Harry Potter studio and offers private on-site production hubs.

Fox Studios

The place to explore other lands and ages all from the comfort of a beautifully kitted out library. Spacious, comfortable and imaginative, these libraries inspire and excite children to read and learn:

Pinewood Studios

Pinewood studios have a number of locations across the UK. One of their major selling points is the extensive post-production facilities on offer. All studios need a place in which to edit the sound, picture or digital features of the film. Cutting rooms, editing and preview theatres and media transfer centres all form part of the production process and need to be designed according to purpose.
