St Marylebone Bridge School is an ambulant Special School in West London catering for pupils with speech, language, and communication needs.

Apteriors design team worked closely with the client and wider design consultants to provide specialist teaching spaces to facilitate the school’s curriculum.
The blue theme really enhanced the space, the bright colours of our fixed furniture was a nice change from the standard grey. Colour can be an influential tool in a classroom with blue creating productivity and stimulating a high level of thought.
Blue is a durable colour that will stand the test of time (20+ years).

After a BA in Industrial Design at IUAV University of Venice, followed by an MA in Design at the Linnéuniversitetet in Växjö, Sweden, Mike gained experience in Italy, prior to moving to London. Before joining Apteriors, he worked as an interior design at IPT Architects, focusing on modular construction and particularly its sustainability.
Since joining our team, Mike has been part of the key team working on gaining our BIM Level 2 Certification. He has also worked closely with the rest of the design team and our suppliers, focusing mainly on educational & commercial spaces.
