FF&E Consultancy

We start by building a full picture of the people who will be using the space, and how they’ll be using it.

Lets talk. We want to know everything. Who, what, why – and then we will show you how. This relationship that we build at the start with you will form the atmosphere and culture that we will create within your space, for a lifetime. Collaboration is paramount. We are confident that we’re great designers, but its not just about looks with us, it’s about the overall feeling and functionality which is specific to each sector. These details are what will elevate your space to new heights.

Design

Once we understand how your space needs to feel and what it needs to do, we’ll begin the design phase.

Putting the consultancy to action within our designs. Our team gets to work psychoanalysing interior and FF&E concepts, producing mood boards, clear and concise presentations and 3D renders, and most importantly, OPTIONS. You will be presented with a digital depiction of the end result before a single piece of furniture is ordered. It’s risk free.

Technical

We follow the RIBA design stages to ensure that your space is designed from a technical aspect after the developed concept design. The detail is paramount. Without meticulous collaboration and clash detection costly mistakes could incur. What’s the point in having a media unit if you can’t plug it in? Or a zip tap that can’t be plumbed in?!

Industry leading standards such as BIM (Building Information Modelling) is utilised to collaborate with other specialist subcontractors on the project. Ensuring that our FF&E design co-ordinates seamlessly with the architectural, mechanical and electrical services so you don’t get any nasty surprises at construction phase. We also work out the carbon footprint per project and create a decarbonisation strategy to ensure that we can reduce and offset as much as possible, delivering a sustainable, eco-friendly design.

Management

You didn’t think we’d just leave you with a design and a heck load of furniture to order, did you?!

Managing costs, suppliers, delivery slots, furniture assembly, installations and legacy furniture decants are extremely specialist and admin heavy tasks. Get this wrong and the whole project could be a nightmare. Apteriors’ experience over the years ensures a stress free ending to the project so that you don’t have to worry about a thing, so you can put your spreadsheets and your screw drivers away. Just be ready to stay informed!
